“Mero Sanket” is the first mobile app designed to accommodate the needs of deaf children learning Nepali Sign Language (NSL). Through the app, deaf children can learn NSL, enhancing their linguistic skills development, inside and outside the classroom. Videos and images are made available for each consonant and vowel letter in NSL in order to show how to sign & spell the letters. There is also video and image content in NSL for four words each under the consonant and vowel.

Further, the app also includes exercises relating to each lesson for deaf children's learning assessment. With the support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), it was developed by the National Federation of the Deaf-Nepal (NDFN) in partnership with Handicap International and World Education.
